Just a few things to consider when submitting a custom request:

How long does manufacturing take?
Manufacturing your custom butchers block can take up to two weeks depending on complexity of the build. 

How thick should my block be?
When we are dealing with larger surface areas, there are larger internal stress factors in the wood, which over time, could cause cracking or warping.
Our general guideline on minimum thickness would be:
Up to 400mm x 400mm – 20mm or thicker
Up to 700mm x 700mm – 30mm or thicker
Greater than 700mm x 700mm – 40mm or thicker.

What are my wood options?
Our primary offerings are Oak, Kiaat and Beech, due to their stability and beauty. You are however welcome to request quotations based on other wood species.
