Kiaat is native to Southern Africa and is widely used in South Africa as a high-quality hardwood for carpentry and furniture due to its excellent stability and exotic appearance. Kiaat features red-brown hues with occasional streaks of amber-white and a beautifully marbled grain pattern. We love this wood because each individual piece crafted from it has a distinct character of its own.
