THE Romeo:

The Old Oryx Romeo is a serving board designed to be carried or passed around and set down with occasion and purpose. Defined by its leather handles and elongated form, it’s made for spreads and gatherings where the board becomes part of the moment.
The handles offer an easy, secure grip when moving from kitchen to table, while rubber feet keep the board steady once in place. Broad surface is ideal for charcuteries and cheese platters, and durable enough for prep when required.

Your Old Oryx Romeo comes sanded down to an ultra fine finish, and has been pretreated with food safe mineral oil.

Washing:
Wash with warm mildly soapy water without submerging, rinse with warm water without submerging the board. Dry with cloth and pack vertically to dry on a rack, ensuring the board is not sitting in water pools. Dishwashing will destroy your board in no time!

General Maintenance & Hydration:
After first wash and dry, after 5th wash and dry. Then periodically or when your board starts looking dull or dry.
Firstly ensure that the board is clean and dry.  Using our food safe mineral oil or beeswax butter, apply a coat to the entirety of the board. Allow to soak for at least 5 minutes (The longer the better). Remove any excess oil with a dry cloth or paper towel, wiping off in the direction of the grain.
